MeditationLock ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

MeditationLock is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information on our servers.

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

Screen Time & App Blocking

MeditationLock uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls / ManagedSettings) to block apps you select. The list of apps you choose to block is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

Analytics

We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics. This includes events like app opens, meditation completions, and paywall interactions. No personally identifiable information is included. You can opt out of analytics in the app's Settings.

Payments & Subscriptions

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. Subscription management is handled through Superwall and Apple's in-app purchase system.

Push Notifications

If you grant notification permissions, MeditationLock may send local notifications to prompt meditation sessions. These are generated on-device and do not involve transmitting any data to our servers.

Data Retention & Deletion

All app data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all associated data. We do not retain any personal data on our servers.

Children's Privacy

MeditationLock is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
